Letter to the London School of Economics

We were recently alerted to an alarming paper presented at a conference held at the London School of Economics (LSE), in which a student was applauded for presenting a violent fantasy about harming gender critical women.

The full context of this paper are outlined by the campaign group Sex Matters which was co-founded by Maya Forstater to protect the rights of women and girls, and is campaigning to establish that sex matters in rules, laws, policies, language and culture.

The response to this vile paper presented at LSE has been overwhelmingly negative, and has led to the University removing the it from its website. However we have written to the director, Baroness Minouche Shafik, to ask what is being done to ensure that this kind of extremism is not allowed to flourish at LSE.

We believe that this kind of language and attitude has no place in any educational establishment in the UK.
