We are delighted to announce that bookings are now open for our 2023 Annual Conference.

This event will be held at the RAF Club in central London from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday 24 June 2023.

Our guest speakers include Louse Perry, who will be talking on The Case Against the Sexual Revolution and Harry Miller, who will be talking on Freedom of Speech.

 

Louise Perry is a journalist and author based in London. Her first book, The Case Against the Sexual Revolution, was published in 2022. She is the director of The Other Half, a new non-partisan feminist think tank, and the host of Maiden Mother Matriarch, a podcast about sexual politics. She tweets at @louise_m_perry.

Harry Miller is is well known champion of the Article 10 ECHR right to freedom of expression and has clocked up a number of wins against police overreach. His 2020 High Court victory against the chief constable of Humberside saw the police compared to the Stasi, the Cheka and the Gestapo. In a victory against The College of Policing in 2021, he forced an entire re-write of the Hate Crime Guidance. Harry is co-founder of the  police watchdog, Fair Cop, which continues to monitor and challenge Chief Constables throughout the United Kingdom for any sign of politicised policing. Ian Court

 

 

As well our two keynote speakers, There are a choice of workshops after lunch, including a session hosted by Ian Court of Pint Size Theatre on Safeguarding in PSHE.

 

Ian Court graduated with a degree in English Literature from Newcastle University in 1984 followed by an PGCE in English and Drama in 1985 and has since spent his working life in both mainstream and alternative education. In 1998 he founded with his wife, Mary Green, Pintsize Theatre Ltd which for the last 25 years has been creating theatre in education for schools in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. In 2020 this highly acclaimed company (now a charity) was forced to move online and now exists to create interactive, dramatic podcasts for years 6 – 10 and above, to support PSHE and RSE in schools.
