We are please to confirm that Portsmouth Grammar School listened to complaints from parents and the wider community and decided against running the LGBTQ+ event with speakers and trans activists Peter Tatchell and Juno Dawson.
We will keep an eye on further events at the school.
This is a win for parents wanting to protect children from inappropriate content within schools. Children should never be sexualised, even in the guise of “diversity and inclusion” – safeguarding must always come first.
